I hate to say it, I’m so dissapointed with Hulk and Iron Man… I was really hoping the early images were just teasers and that some more attention to detail will go in the final versions. After all, they are some of Marvel’s main characters :(

Iron Man is much better here than it was during last Toy Fair, but I still think this helmet is a very bad idea. Hulk is not even a minifig , difficult to consider him as a real character as per the LEGO codes, he is more like a figurine within the same family like the Wampa…. I would still have prefered a minifig for him, even if the size ration would not have been respected (Woody legs would have helped a little)

  3. 25 février 2012 - 00:36

Hey Will :) Even with the size ratio, from the first moment I’ve seen the teasers with his face, I thought he kinda looks like a huge… kid. As for IronMan, the helmet just makes him look… funny. And I mean A LOT funnier than it should be. I’ve never been a huge fan of realistic detail in lego minifigs and I still think they should have something fun about, but in IronMan’s case, that helmet is really too much. If it were my choice, I would rather have a alternate head with Tony Stark’s face, in a different set. What the heck, it would have meant even more sales!

Hi Calin !! Well Iron Man was the minifig I was really expecting… I am a bit disappointed actually. Like you said, two faces and no helmet would have been a better alternative. Those versions are supposed to be based on the upcoming movie, and not from some cartoon. There was no reason to go for some really cartoonish interpretation of Stark.

great avengers! the ironman helmet is nice, the head was drawn sad. disappointment only for the aliens and the lack of fury
